Another Great Adventure of a Stay at Home Mom

So, if that last story wasn't enough, there's more! As a Stay at Home Mom, I have found time to do the more important things in life, such as, look for Pete's father. I really had no info to go by besides his name, Francis Warren Bloomquist. I searched and searched the internet for weeks, looking for some clue to where FWB might be. We didn't even know if he was still alive. With the help of an Angel, I got bits of information where to look. An old phone number led me to Warren's ex-wife in Ohio. Though she was hesitant to release any info, she did mention that he was living in Oxnard, California. I informed my Internet Angel and she managed to find the phone number of Juanita Bloomquist, Warren's wife. I waited for almost a week. I was so nervous to call! What if Warren didn't want to be found? Eventually, I did call, and to my surprise, Juanita answered but spoke little English. UGH! Eventually, Juanita's niece got on the phone and cleared things up for me. Warren was temporarily living in a nursing home just across the street from his apartment. He has had four strokes within the last five years. We found that Warren was very happy to hear from us. After just a few weeks, we drove to Oxnard and, finally, Pete met his Dad! It was great! They look a lot alike. And, they have many of the same interests such as cars, thrift stores and Texas Hold'em. Pete has had many life long questions answered. He'll never be the same. Chalk another one up for being a Stay at Home Mom!

A Great Contribution From Uncle Pete

A woman calls her boss one morning and tells her that she is staying home because she is not feeling well.
"What's the matter?" the boss asks.
"I have a case of anal glaucoma," she says in a weak voice.
"What the hell is anal glaucoma? "
"I can't see my ass coming into work today."
