I Love Being a Stay at Home Mom

If I hadn't chosen to quit my job over three years ago, I would have missed out on so much. Some say, "Don't you get bored?" Honestly, I don't have time to get bored. Yes, sometimes, money is tight. And, being with the kids 24/7 is sometimes tough but I love it. Being a Stay at Home Mom is the hardest, yet, most rewarding job I've ever had! Thanks to my husband, Pete, I can be home where I am needed most. Life is Good!

*Making Choices Is Your Greatest Power*

At any time you can decide to alter the course of your life.
No one can ever take that away from you.
You can do what you want to do and be who you want to be.
Nature is constantly at work around you.
Character and destiny are her handiwork.
She gives you love and hate, jealousy and reverence.
You have the power to choose which impulse you follow.
While your character is formed by your circumstances,
your desires can shape those circumstances.
The one thing over which you have absolute control is your own thoughts.
It is this that puts you in a position to control your own destiny.
Your greatest power is the power to choose.

Way To Make Money as a Stay-at-Home Mom

This is no get rich scheme. Just a way to make a little extra money. And a chance to sample some great stuff. You are in direct contact with the head honcho, Liza. She makes sure you have all the info to make your part of the job quite easy. And, actually, it's fun because you're just interacting with other moms.

This month, I received several bags of Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavored candy. What do I have to do? Tell you about the candy! It's the perfect on the go treat. They have flavors like cookies 'n cream, mint chocolate chip, and pralines 'n cream. Look for them in stores everywhere.

Check out http://www.milesofmarketing.com/ to learn more about how you, too, can sample great products and make money doing so. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions regarding Miles of Marketing or even questions about Baskin-Robbins candy! Tell Liza Denise from San Diego sent you.

Dear Family, you are the best because my Mom never goes to work. My Dad, because he's always funny and he always tickles me. My Grandma and Grandpa because, sometimes, they let me spend 2 nights. And, Happy Valentine's Day.

A Great Day as a Stay at Home Mom

Pete's grandfather, Paul Yancick, died in 1947. Pete's Mom, Paula, was only two years old. As the story went, Paul had fallen off a grain elevator at the age of twenty-six. Just days before Christmas, 2005, I received a phone call in the middle of the day (fortunately I was at home). The gentleman on the other end said he was searching for a long, lost family member. I quietly listened, recognizing some of the names he mentioned. The stranger's name was Peter Yancick, little brother of Paul. Paul had died when Pete was around ten years old. Nearly sixty years ago! Paul Yancick had nine brothers and sisters. After Paul's death, they had lost contact with their niece, Paula. Through Uncle Pete's continuous searches, he found that, unfortunately, Paula had passed away in 1998. He continued to search, finding an old Christmas card from 1977. It was signed with everyone's names, including Peter Wilkens. So, that's how the long lost grandson of Paul Yancick was finally identified. Peter Yancick made a phone call and voila! We now stay in touch through e-mails and phone calls. Come to find out, Grandpa Paul had actually fallen from a skyscraper. Uncle Pete has shared years of family history all the way back to Croatia! A Great Day as a Stay at Home Mom!
